Finally got around to installing most of my accessories. Bed Rails, Headache Rack, Front and rear flaps, Bug deflector, Banks Pedal Monster, Fuel tank installed for equipment. Decked toolbox after I pickup a 5th wheel to insure it does not interfere.
I would take a good look at the end of the frame for damage. However with the light weight material that todays bumpers are made of they a far more cosmetic that anything. It don't take much to bend one like that when you put the fact that the vehicle weighs in over 7K and most likely another...
Talked to the dealer who is the owner that I went through. He remembered taking power off and checking fixed. I guess I missed it. Not a show stopper I'm still very pleased with the truck and hope it will last me like the last one 23 years.
Yes and no I did select the chrome steps but with the level 1 package I was under the impression that they where the power steps. That is the one item I have to bring up with the dealer.
Got it home last night in the dark and a slight hit of rain as well. But her it is just like I ordered. Looks great and I'm very pleased as well. Here are a few pictures. Time for install of all my accessories.
Officer Dirty Sanchez you can mark line 686 NG193453 as complete. I was able to pickup today but had started raining and getting dark by the time I got home. I will update with pictures tomorrow. Thanks to all that have had valued input and knowledge of the process and have assisted. I will...
You can mark line 686 NG193453 as delivered. Dealer notified me will be able to pickup either today or tomorrow as soon as it is ready. Pics to follow.
Well just an update the truck has arrived in Nashville as of 5 am today. Dealer was also tracking and now we will see how long it takes to move on from the railyard.
Mine is sitting in Memphis TN waiting for the last leg tomorrow on to Nashville TN. Has an ETA of 5:20pm and then the wait for unloading and transport to the dealer 45 minutes away. Getting closer but yet still so far away. Been a long wait since 1 Nov order date.
Looking at going up to that size on my dually as well. Did it change the speedometer enough to require a recalibration and if so did the dealer have to do that?
Nice looking truck so looking forward to mine. If I had known knew about them I would have used MD also . But mine is enroute and there was a $2K deposit that also locked the price.
Would one of the nice folks maybe be able to locate railcar info for my order? VIN: 3C63RRKL0NG193453 It will have a final rail destination of Nashville TN. It is said to be in the shipping stage now.
Thanks much for your time. Jim
