It varies quite a bit for me. I'm using it this week and towed down a dusty gravel road to get to camp. It will get a bath when I get home. But before that, it sat for at least a month. Stayed nice and clean in the RV shed. If I'm using it more regular, it gets more washings, sometimes once a...
Had mine done at a local tire shop, called Tire Tracks. Been 3 years, so I don't remember the price, but it was reasonable. I just took the tires in rather than the whole trailer.
Same. I sometimes regret trading my '18 CTD on my '22. But I never really monitored the DPF gauge on the '18. That was really not a common thing to do until the 22's started having issues.
Agreed.
Sure, you could do that. AFAIK, anyone can start a poll here.
I think at some point, you're probably right. But I had an awful time with continuous regens last summer. I was at 24K miles, 59 idle, 520 driving. I blame it on the bio-diesel up north, but who knows? Several good tows and some...
Seems the amount of complaints about the 22+ DPF regen issues has died down over the last few months for the Cummins motor. Has me wondering why, so thought I'd start a poll. Let me know if I need to add some choices.
For me, I pretty much only use the truck for towing. I'd like to drive it a...
Once you AA pair your phone to the truck, uConnect will try to start AA automatically when it "sees" your phone. Two ways I've found to avoid it are either have location turned off on the phone or be running an ad blocker app. I'm not a big fan of AA, and only use it on long, multi-hour trips...
Lots of great points and truths in there. It's a tough decision these days. Fortunately for me, mine is primarily a tow vehicle only. We have other vehicles for stop and go stuff. But even so, I worry about some of the costs that are likely headed my way at some point. Disappointing when...
I have the Ram supplied TTPMS's in aluminum wheels on my trailer. No issues caused by the wheel material. Mine is a '22, but I don't think that makes any difference for this.
I feel lucky. My local Ram dealer's service dept is great. Never a problem getting a quick appt time, and pretty much always same day service. I'm not a long time customer and I didn't buy the truck there. I only take the truck there for warranty stuff though. I do my own maintenance.
Seems like a contradictory statement. Seems like the very few issues I've read about with cam/valve issues is caused by using the wrong type/viscosity oils.
And yet the feedback in this thread alone says there are problems with the 25+ trucks.
Hey, I get that you want a new truck. I just...
