I have the Ram supplied TTPMS's in aluminum wheels on my trailer. No issues caused by the wheel material. Mine is a '22, but I don't think that makes any difference for this.

I feel lucky. My local Ram dealer's service dept is great. Never a problem getting a quick appt time, and pretty much always same day service. I'm not a long time customer and I didn't buy the truck there. I only take the truck there for warranty stuff though. I do my own maintenance.

Does not work on my '22. I made the first few tows with no reading for the trailer tires. Even after retraining it a couple of times. Until I found out about the hack I described above. I don't have the distance issue apparently, but just curious what your results are after trying the trailer...

Same problem on my '22. Here's the work around. Go into the settings on the u5 system and select a different trailer, even one that is not setup at all. Exit the screen. Then go back into settings and select the correct trailer. Still might take it a few minutes to show the tire pressures, but...

Yep. I bought my '22 out of state and had to have the hood repainted under warranty. Local dealer was great to work with and did a great job.

Yeah, that's one of the benefits of that warranty. But it is only covered for like 48 hours or something.

No problem here. I bought mine from Granger, 2 states away. Local dealer has been great about all the warranty work and TSB/recalls, including repainting the hood. They never give me any flack about buying it elsewhere.
