i bought that cover and its awesome. takes up zero space, rolls and unrolls in about 30 seconds no exxageration. most important part is that it takes up zero space so i can still load my dirtbikes and close the tailgate. will never look back at the factory cover again.

i thought so too, but i am absolutely 100% certain the ACC is driving differently, no longer making passengers car sick, something changed. ill try again tomorrow.

so props to ram, not sure if they read this forum or listened to the messages i sent to them diretly or you all sent to them, but i got a OTA update yesterday and the ACC is significantly improved. not perfect but WAY better.

it has no smoothing algorithm. it tries aggressively to keep EXACT distance to the inch. therefore it surges and brakes hard as it overshoots or undershoots, or as the drivers in front do stupid ****

i ordered the lo pro cover, local stores here in LA have it with free install. the good part is that it looks like it rolls up high and tight enough that my dirtbikes will fit just fine as it uses no extra space when rolled up, we shall see, i will take pics and of course look carefully to see...

i contacted ram directly to try bring this to their attention, any of you who have ACC i recommend you try the same, maybe if enough talk to RAM it will be done, its definitely a software fix, so certainly possible for them to implement at no real cost to them.

my one was a soft cover that folder up into into 3 equal size parts all joined together the clamps always felt cheezeball to me. not only that the first set of clamps should have been right at the front of the cover where the truck bed starts, so the front of the cover could never lift. the...

mine defnitely is not that bad. if the driver in front is good and smooth, the ACC is acceptable. when someone changes lanes in front of me and fills in the gap the cruise control was keeping, then it acts stupid, slamming brakes, and then accelerating hard after that.

ram really needed to use a smoothing algorithm on this thing. if you are following a car in front of you, it matches the cars driving in front of you exactly. in other words if the driver in front of you is crap, like an idiot who constantly breaks or accelarates, the ACC on my truck actually...
