Correct. I believe if yours comes with the lights from factory there is a separate kit specifically for the factory holes. My kit was for a "virgin" roof that required me to drill 15 holes (3 per light).

I think I paid something like $140 for the kit shipped. But I definitely expected instructions on how to wire it up and a template to unfold and lay down on the roof to line things up. The only thing you can get is a pdf on their website...
