Correct. I didn’t even think of the weight and position of a plow. A 300lb bumper is still a pig, but it’s being held much closer than a 800lb plow. If you’re not having an issue, OP won’t either.- Grousehaven

Not HD specific, so this could be completely moot. I put a 180 lb bumper/ winch assembly on the front of my 18 wrangler. Did you get an owner's manual??
Ordered my rebel in July, built mid July, delivered mid august. No manual, no binder.
