You are giving advice about a Brinkley when using other brands.. Would be like giving advice on a Cummins when you have a Powerstroke. Apples to Oranges. Plus Grand Design Reflection Series is 96" wide. Only the Solitude Series is 102" wide.
I also said Gen-Y offset ball. I did not state offset...
This thread is specifically about a Brinkley Z3100 5th wheel which is 96” wide. With the Gen-Y offset ball which is a 5” offset, you can in fact turn to 90 degrees with a short bed Ram.
I had a 2022 Ram 2500 with the 6.4" bed when I bought my Z3100 (Z207) in July of 2023. I installed a Reese Goosebox on the trailer. You could NOT turn to 90 degrees. I switch to a 2023 Ram 3500 with the 8' bed as I do not go to camp grounds at all (only boondock) and sometimes need to be at...
If you are wanting the camera (68527599AA) that works with your digital rearview mirror that you mount on the rear of your trailer I have the one that I used on my 2022 that I will sell you.
I have since upgraded to a 2023 truck and the 2022 camera only works with a 2022.
Mine is a Z3100, it pulled fine.. Was over the payload limit on my truck so I changed out to a 3500 dually... I've been told by a few people in Canada they randomly weigh you and didn't want issues when I go to Alaska...
My pin weight empty and dry is 2,441lbs.
If you already have a 2500 I would...
I've had my Z310 for a while now and love it.. Took it on a 5,200 mile trip recently.. NO issues at all with the trailer. Definitely would buy again...
I have a used 2022 tow camera for sale $350 shipped. I traded my 2022 2500 in on a 2023 3500 Dually.
Camera was on trailer for a year, trailer stored in building when not in use.
I guess when they say wood on 2024 wheel they mean the little accent pieces.
On all my previous Longhorns the entire steering wheel heated up including the wood from 10-2 o’clock.
