Got the complete compressor, tried it out and it works fine. Truck is at the mechanic I told him to try cranking without the belt. He's dragging his feet, like everyone else.

Replaced AC compressor, still making same noise

Thanks I'll tell my mechanic, I've got someone working on it. I've already had the belt tensioner, belt, a/c compressor changed, I even tried putting a little grease on the belt. Hope I get a fix soon or I'll be broke.

I'm having this problem and I took it to the dealership, at first they said nothing was wrong, then after showing them the sound they said it was the belt tensioner, I changed that and now 3 days later the sound is back, can you help me out?
