Having installed PPF myself on a couple motorcycles, I pay the man for my trucks. Especially with white paint, you’re going to see every spec of dust that gets under it during install.
If you do it yourself, have patience, a good SLIP (Johnson’s baby shampoo and water), a way to squeegee it...
I test drove a 3500 this week and the sales guy put it through cleanup before I drove it but I saw it the day before and it was filthy with some dirt/dust all over the inside and out. That was the same story with all the other 2025s.
My wife had a Nissan Rogue or something that did that. I’d cuss every time it did it. My Power Wagon with the dial is locked until you press the start button.
In case anyone missed it, Dethloff is planning to release their rock sliders soon.
From their FB post:
Something we’ve kept out of the public eye until now is our upcoming rock sliders, but with us heading to DTX and knowing that these will be very visible we figured a teaser was in order...

Checkout NH Overland and Dethloff MFG if you haven’t found them already. White Knuckle has rock sliders and Dethloff is working on some.
Finally finished up installing a few items from NH Overland (Baja Designs rear S2s, Antenna mount, GMRS mount, firewall pass through, headrest hanger). The wiring for my GMRS radio is somewhat temporary. For those using a firewall pass-through, like the one from NH Overland or the Daystar...
I had a pretty productive weekend. Installed MOPAR mud flaps (installation is easy but making sure they are all lined up…eh) and the Dethloff MFG engine tranny skid.
Got my Dethloff MFG skid installed. The worst thing about it is how I’m going to feel tomorrow. :D
A couple notes:
Based on what I’ve seen from others photos, I had to find holes further rearward for a couple bolts to bolt the rear plate due to interference from the transmission mount. That...
I haven’t had that with my Power Wagon. But I did have a similar issue with a 5.7 Rebel 1500 with the etorque. However, in all the cases where owners had that issue, it threw a code. Ram finally came out with a TSB for it though.
