    Shocks

I bought a new 2500 Bighorn Friday and after driving 3100 miles two weeks ago in my son’s 24 with stock suspension I think a better shock would be a great upgrade. I may be interested in putting a taller Thuren coil later but would like to put the 5100’s on my truck first. It seems you are...

Is that patriot blue? If so that is the color of my sons and he has the bighorn night edition too. You wrote the same tire size for the original and new tires. What was the second tire size?

I would not recommend that many miles in that short of time. I managed to pull my left hamstring and glute from sitting too long in one spot in my wallet. Still hurts two weeks later. ‍♂️. I am thinking similar additions as you have done. What kind and size tires did you switch too?

My son bought a '24 2500 back in August and two weeks ago we drove from NJ to Estes Park Co, then Zion NP and finally to San Diego where he reported to his new Naval post and will be there the next three years. We drove 3100 miles in 4 days and visited two National Parks. The first was Rocky...

    Blacking out the chrome grill

Thanks. That’s pretty much what I thought.

    Blacking out the chrome grill

I am looking at a couple 2500's at my local Ram dealer that have the Chrome bumpers and trim. I would like to have all the exterior chrome wrapped. I would think that the bumpers themselves would cost the same or less as the grille and badges. Maybe you can confirm? Also any idea if any of...

How many miles a week to justify a diesel?

My sons Big Horn is Patriot Blue and is absolutely the nicest truck I have ever driven. I have a friend who has a King Ranch F250 and other than the leather seats it looks and feels like a lower end interior. My son has the fold down middle in the seat like my 1500 while the one I am looking at...

How many miles a week to justify a diesel?

That may be for some. But the Tradesman with the diesel is less than $2k more than the Gas Big Horn. The main difference other than the engine is the Tradesman doesn’t have electric heated seats and the stupid small tires. The Bighorn has the night edition so it has 20” wheels and painted body...

How many miles a week to justify a diesel?

This /\ I currently have a 2014 1500 and it's been the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. I now have 145k on it and am thinking about replacing it while it still has some value. I don't care for the new 1500's, I don't like the F150 and will never own another GM product when i was a die...

How many miles a week to justify a diesel?

What version is only offered in Diesel? I've never looked at all of the packages because some get insanely expensive for stuff that no one needs and only adds to the likeliness of an electrical issue.

How many miles a week to justify a diesel?

I can only own one truck. When we go out we usually use my wife's Santa Fe because she has bad Rheumatoid and it's easier to park in most parking lots.

How many miles a week to justify a diesel?

Let me rephrase my question. I put the same question on FB that's below and most people are only looking at the 9 mile commute but I am also driving for work 2-3x a week 110 miles round trip. So my total mileage a week on average is 250-350 miles. Would this be enough to justify a a diesel and...
