I own a 2024 Ram 2500 6.4L Bighorn that’s been “leveled”. I regularly tow a tractor or 8Ton excavator on a 18’ equipment trailer and tow a 14K dump trailer that’s been loaded with crushed rock, topsoil, etc.
I had a similar experience at American Tires in CA. They deformed the stainless steel covers on the OEM lug nuts by using a 7/8” impact socket and admitted to me that they don’t even have metric sockets. Unbelievable!
I now bring my own socket and demand that they use it, or bring in the wheels...
Forgive me for the belated response. I haven’t been on the forum for awhile.
Replaced the Fox shocks with Rancho 9000’s with the hood of less compression dampening (more compliant ride) which they delivered, with the added ability to adjust the shocks.
The Ranchos provide slightly less control...
Having been the owner of a 2016 Ram 1500 and current owner of a 2024 Ram 2500, I’d recommend the OEM liners, both for appearance sake and protection sake. I now see that the 2500 liners are an “abbreviated” version of what are offered for the 1500, shorter in height, providing less visual...
With only about 100 miles on my new 2024 Ram 2500 CC 4WD Hemi, I installed Power Stop Z36 pads to grab my OEM rotors and have been pleased with the results, towing up to 13K trailer weight and non-towing, using the OEM brake lines, etc.
I have most everything that Thuren offers for my 2024 Ram 2500 4x4 6.4L Hemi. I tow a “10K” equipment trailer, a 14K (derated to “10K”) dump trailer and drive the truck without a trailer.
Except for my replacing the Thuren Fox 2.0 shocks with Rancho 9000’s I’m totally satisfied.
I went for the...
I installed the Power Stop Z36 pads front and rear at about 150 miles on a new 2024 Hemi HD2500 4WD CC using the OEM rotors. It was an improvement and there is less brake dust on the wheels.
Your front end weight will be more than my 2024 6.4 Hemi Crew Cab 4x4 6’-4” bed truck but my 2 cents is this:
From the dealer my truck rode like a cement truck. Hoping to come as close as possible to the rise of my previous 2016 Ram 1500 crew cab 4x4, I’ve done the following and am satisfied...
I have the Thuren LCS kit on my 2024 Ram 2500 CC 4WD 6’-4” bed, Thuren +2” soft front springs, +1” soft rear springs and other Thuren products listed in previous posts along with Rancho 9000 shocks.
Yesterday I swapped the std. LCS bumpers with the tall bumpers, towed an empty 12x6 dump...
I had my first bed rug in my 2016 Ram 1500 and installed one in my new 2024 Ram 2500 within a week of taking delivery. I’m a fan. Comfortable to kneel on, protects the bed and aids in preventing cargo from so easily sliding. Works well with the AMP bed extender I installed.
My only complaint is...
