I ordered the one with NAV on ebay. It is the step up from the one you have. The 8.4 with nav is called a 4c or UAV code radio

ya sorry. I ended up replacing the radio module and the camera works fine on that. I bought a brand new one for 950 bucks. So I have 2000 in the upgrade. Still 600 cheaper then infotainment.

I also was able to get the passive entry to work also. Did it all through alfaodb.

I replaced the radio control module and it fixed the backup camera. I say the original one was bad

Ya what is weird is I bought the radio off if Troutman from the 5th gen forums and he said it all worked in his 2500.

I can plug my original 5 inch in and it comes up every time.

So the farthest left one and the pink and the black connector are not used on my new radio. I tried plugging the camera into the pink connector with the universal fakra cable also and no difference. My camera on the old and the new plug into the maroon connector.

Yes pink and I think an aqua color and also like a 10 pin black connector

Is it UAV. If so my dealership said that is not a code they can add. I added what it needs through alfaodb but can't get the camera working after a couple of weeks. So I am going to take it to the dealer to see if they can get it going. I'd like for them to add the code for the new radio...

Tried the universal fakra cable today with no luck. I think I'll take it to the dealer to see if they can get it goin. Hopefully they don't void any warranty cause I switched from the 5 to the 8.4.
