Got my truck in yesterday. Call fca directly. The parts department wasn’t working with the service department and they didn’t realize they had the right parts. Tell the fca rep to call the dealer directly to get it fixed. My service guy also tried calling and telling me he didn’t have the parts...
My dealer tried to order my parts on 3/2. They just informed me that FCA cancelled the order and the parts won’t be available until December of 2021. This is beyond ridiculous.
FCA let me schedule my truck for the recall on 2/25. Took it in and then the dealer called me the next day saying they didn’t have the parts and can’t order them until 3/1. This is getting to be ridiculous. My truck had to go in twice to figure out a battery saver issue and now this.
Kate,
I talked with my dealer and they said no parts are available, nor do they know when they will be. I don't want to drive my $60,000 truck if it will start on fire. Can you provide some additional assistance and provide a timeline on when the parts will be available?
Had the same message. Both batteries tested fine. Dealer check all the electrical connections and those were fine. They then updated the software and that fixed the issue.
Certain incentives are locked in when you order. If you call FCA they will be able to tell you which incentives will lock in and which ones won’t. Their number is 800-227-0757. If a dealer tells you they can’t lock incentives in call FCA with them.
Thanks for the response! I am trying to find a SRW 3500. The Ram website is atrocious for searching for SRW. Does anyone have any tips for searching for 2019 SRW?
Does anyone know the latest date you can custom order a 2019? I don’t see many differences between 19 to 20 and want to take advantage of the incentives going on. Thanks!
