Keep the old truck and maintain it, besides you have an Aisin Trans. Forget the warranty and put some money away monthly for possible future repairs. It's a crap shoot buying a new truck anymore, it could lead to more headaches down the road. You know what you have now! JMHO

In my opinion the Hurricane's displacement is too small for the HD trucks. Like jslbre said, working hard under boost, making a ton of heat and inhaling fuel at alarming rates plus the electronic complexity compared to the V8 format

Most all of my Ram Cummins have seeped like that when new. Clean it off and keep an eye on it but more than likely main seal assembly lube

Just an up date, I got the new warrantied seat cover installed and all the recall updates done Thursday/Fri. It looks much better and the dealer seemed to do a good job from what I've seen so far anyway. Apparently somehow a fire was lit! I don't think my dealer is thrilled with me however but...

My 2025 Laramie has an area under the passenger front door that looks thin, flat and orange peel like. Its just above the drip edge approximately. a foot long and 3" wide. I took it in and the dealer body shop wasn't surprised saying a lot of new ford and Ram trucks come in like that nowadays...

What a hassle but I’m sure the Katzkins will be an upgrade! It’s too bad @RamCares isn’t stepping up to help out, they seem to be MIA lately. Supposedly my dealer ordered the new cover and foam months ago, they just keep saying it’s on back order when I call!

Looks better than new, thanks for the update. Yeah mine wasn’t denied but all I hear from the dealer is “ still on back order “. I think Ram still offer this choice in leather so apparently they have some laying around! Hopefully @RamCares can get back to us on this

The shop said they would replace the bottom piece of perforated leather with a new one to match with a proper fit. They also said they could add a small amount of foam if needed. They quoted me about $300 which I thought was reasonable. They also install Katskin Leather in their shop

Hey OP, any news from Ram or @RamCares on your loose leather drivers seat? It's been months since I took mine in for that same issue. All I've heard from my dealer is "It's still on back order". Hopefully they can get the necessary parts soon!
