    2025 Ram 5500 Parked! Update

It's isn't the suppliers, it's the auto manufacturers whose sole concern is making parts as cheap as possible.

How wrecked are your local dealers service departments?

The RAM dealer here in Sierra Vista has been pretty good about getting trucks in. It was Lawley until a few months ago which sold to Ed Morse. Seems to still be generally OK other than Click, Lawley and Miller along with the STAR guys can't seem to figure out half the problems with my wretched...

New Ram HDs in 2027 or 2028

Instead of focusing on more power how about fixing emissions and electrical? All the power in the world doesn't help you when the truck lives at the dealer.

    2022 Uconnect 5 12.0 Glitches

I wonder why it seems the auto manufacturers can't seem to roll out software that isn't completely bug ridden? Do they not pay enough for qualified programmers?

Can Ram Flash the 2025 Cummins engine ECM OTA (over the air)?

I hope it's better than uConnect updates that have bricked 2 radios of ours.

    I'm at a loss.

Not sure what you're saying here. The dash will show 0% while the Scangauge will show 90%+. As soon as the Scanguage hits 99% it regens. The dash guage will show say 50% and the Scanguage shows say 25%. I have no idea what the dash guage actually does since it doesn't seem to cirflate to...

    I'm at a loss.

This is going to sound crazy. 2022 HO. Longest distance ever before regen was 844 miles. Longest time ever 18:49. Truck has 30k miles. Dealer has replaced 2 DPFs. I've used Amsoil 5w40 from day one. Last week I changed oil and used Delo 400 10w30 because I was out of the Amsoil. The truck...

    Hemi versus 7.3

I towed an 11k tag with my '21 RAM 1500 over Monarch Pass to Colorado when my POS '22 Cummins broke again. I was truly surprised how well it towed power wise but the trailer definitely was pushing the truck around. I installed a heavier sway bar on it and a VERY good anti sway hitch. Running...

    Hemi versus 7.3

Interesting. The specs on the ones for the medium duty trucks and such say 3,200. 1,800 doesn't even make sense, it's basically the same engine as the diesel which I believe is 2,800. It sounds like it might be a good towing engine though. Too bad GM didn't update the 8.1L.

    Hemi versus 7.3

    It's governed at 3,200.

    Hemi versus 7.3

I've been reading about the 6.7 gasser by Cummins. It seems to me this engine would absolutely dominate GM and Ford for guys that are towing but are sick and tired of the janky emissions systems on new diesels. Cummins is claiming a 10% increase in mileage too versus comparable gas engines. It...

    Hemi versus 7.3

85 octane is fine at high altitudes.

    Hemi versus 7.3

Unfortunately that warranty doesn't apply to virtually anything that's been problems with this truck. Emissions has only been part of it. Endless electrical parts have been replaced too. Only 3/36 on that stuff. Really upsetting, our 2018 was a great truck.

    Hemi versus 7.3

I've absolutely had it with my '22 Cummins. Absolutely by far and away the worst vehicle I've ever owned with endless emissions issues. That's saying a lot, I bought a new Vega back in the day. Anyway, exclusive use towing a 14k 5th wheel TH. Looking at the Hemi with the 4:10 or the Ford with...

2024 Less than 200 miles leaking transfer case and squealing on startup

You mean like my 2022 Challenger that has had an open recall a few months after I bought it but parts are still on backorder? RamCare did exactly zero when I called them.
