Regarding your back jacks, you should be able to unbolt them and raise them up to get more clearance. That of course means they won't have as much raising ability when you are leveling .. but just use blocks. Feel free to pm me if I can help.

The factory shocks on my previous Ford and Chev products were junk that I replaced with Bilsteins pretty early on.
I tow about 14000 lbs and will be about 3800 lbs of cargo (under GVW). (I will know exactly when I get inspected here in DE. They weigh and do active braking tests.)

I personally wouldn't panic, but the other side of that is if you had a serious crash... Bad enough for a reconstruction and weighing... Then you could have some liability...it's an individual decision. If your going 50 miles down the road is one thing... 5000 miles another.

The once a month thing comes from Ford. My 3017 my manual said the WIF separator had to be drained once per month. I always figured they were setting owners up for a voided warranty if there was a CP4 catastrophe [emoji6]
