My new 2019 5500 tradesmen. 4x4, 11' service body, 8,000 pound crane. I've added the bug shield, fog lights, front mud flaps and ordered my brush guard today. Love this truck, but glad I didn't have to buy it or keep filling up the fuel tank.
I seem to be missing something. Installed all oem fog light parts. Bezels, lights, switch and even hardware. I can't get them to work. In alfaobd it shows that they are there. Looked online and in the forum and I'm not seeing the same code line. I have a line for LED fogs which I've tried and...
To say the least. I must have done something that allowed it to lock the doors with the key fob in the truck and I still don't have working fog lights. Can't seem to find the code to enable them in alfa
Unhooking the batteries worked for the most part all the warning lights are off except the check engine light. Headlights working normal again but still no fog lights.
Finishing my fog light install. Just made the connections at the bcm and all kinds of warning lights on dash are on. No auto headlights.
Just double checked wire locations and connectors. Alfaobd will not let me clear the codes. Please help.
I've just read all 18 pages and no one is saying their truck is fixed, wth. Like reading all of the book except the last chapter. Did anyone get resolution?
EDIT: Doing it this way will allow the fob to be locked in the truck. Disable using Alfaobd, much simpler.
