My 2020 ram 2500 6.7 Cummins has a bad power steering whine when turning and it’s really noticeable when reversing. The truck is on a 4in lift and on 35s.
Fluid looks to be normal, but may add some more. Steering is still normal. Not sure if the pump is going out or something else?
Turns out truck was extremely low in transmission fluid. I also added an ATS Thermal Bypass and everything seems to be perfect now. Driven a decent amount and temps stay cool. Shifts buttery smooth
