I have the stock Firestone Transforce tires for now. They are rated for max pressure at 80psi. Payload sticker shows max psi front 60 and rear 65, and the build sticker shows the same. The million dollar question: When I tow do I air up to 80, or use the 60/65 numbers on the stickers?
Just took delivery of my 2020 Ram 2500 with stock Firestone Transforce HT tires. Reviews not so great, they really weren’t designed for Minnesota winters, and apparently sidewall flex is an issue. Trailer still in storage so I can’t verify that. I guess the tire is fine for middle of the road...
Just got an update from the dealer. The truck is at the destination rail yard waiting to be loaded onto a truck for delivery to the dealer. Been there since 12/21. Here is the funny part: The rail yard is 2 miles from my house, and the dealer is 5 miles Beyond that!
