It doesn't retract all the way and kind of sits at an angle. I didn't have to shave any metal to install on mine, but I sent it back because it didn't look right. Amp research said the new version will be out in probably 5-6 weeks.
I had an excessive bounce on some stretches of interstate with the tires at 65 in the rears. I dropped to 50 and the bounce went away, but my mileage went down. I aired back up to 65 and put 200 lbs of sand in the bed to test it. No more bounce and same mpg as unloaded at 65, so I'll just...
On the last tank I had dropped the tire pressure in the rear to 50psi and noticed around 2mpg difference watching the current mpg numbers. I noticed the evic never really wanted to get above 14 or 15 current mpg on flat stretches at 70mph. That tank was 12.6 mpg hand calc. I reset the EVIC...
Has anyone found 3M Scotchgard or another rock chip film for the rocker panels? I'm not sure if the 2018 rocker panels are exactly the same. I have a longhorn crew cab.
Yeah amazon said the first one would fit mine too. Look at your bumper. If it has the backup sensors in a little plastic piece below the bumper then the step won't close
I just tried to install the rear bumper step on the drivers side. It didn't fit because of how the backup sensors are now installed. It bolted up fine but the step hit the plastic piece that the sensors are installed in and wouldn't go all the way up.
