Looks fantastic, great truck! Ordered max steel myself back in September, and supposedly it's now at the nearby railyards (so close!) Spent too much time second guessing the color choice; after seeing your pictures I know I'll love it.

I'm curious to see if "must be ordered at vehicle build" is hard and fast like the VSIM, or if our community will find a way to retrofit. Hoping for a retrofit, though with rumors(?) of updated head unit electronics for 2022 as well, I'm not holding my breath.

In a stock setup, unlikely. The distance and relatively small wire gauge to the trailer results in too much voltage drop and little current for any significant charge. It'll float charge most coach battery setups, but not much else. With some extra work there are ways to get decent charge...

I don't believe orders will even be accepted for blind spot monitoring (see Semiconductor Chip Shortage Causes Ram To Repackage Some Options). I'd check with your dealer though on the trailer camera wiring. In theory it can be added after the fact, but it's an unholy nightmare of wiring that...

Appreciate the change allowing search on three letter phrases, at least in advanced search. Plenty of TLAs are valid and desirable search terms. Any particular reason general search still rejects short phrases?

Show some optimism! At least by the mid-terms ;) It doesn't help any that customer service is so tight lipped about what's going on with these delayed builds and shipments.
