That’s ok. 12k option in Canada. That offsets the cost for awhile. I didn’t need the headache or towing capacity for what the diesel offers. I got into the 1 ton because of my payload needs.
Had a 3hr commute home from picking up the truck. I averaged 17.4MPG on the computer going 65mph home. Relatively impressed, I did notice anything more than 65 and my mpg did drop.
2500ft above sea level here so should be fine. Hoping this 6.4 is gunna be the last truck I buy for awhile. I’ll be staying on top of the oil changes for sure always do!
Appreciate all the input guys. I think I’m gunna bite the bullet. I test drove the 7.3 Godzilla today. Sure liked the power, but hated the interior and I’ve heard so many questionable things about the 10 speed. Like you said the 6.4 has been around long enough with a decent track record...
Good to hear. Will be nice this fall getting 5 cords of firewood in 1/3 as many trips to the bush . The half tons drive nice but they payload and my rebels 5”5 box sucked!!!!
I live out in rural Canada. Most of my driving is highway, surely the fuel economy will be a bit better than that? Regardless I’m not purchasing it for fuel economy. My eco with the rebel lift and 3.93 gears was about 10l/100 which was approx. 20mpg I believe?
Morning!
Wanted to get some input on from you guys on the the 3500 with the 6.4 Hemi. I’m coming from a 2020 Rebel Eco with 3.93 gears. I’ve just outgrown the truck in regards to payload demands. I don’t tow enough to warrant the added cost the Cummins entails.
How are you all liking the 6.4...
