Drilled a hole in the back of the cubby hole that I ran the wires and coax through. Then I ran the wires straight to the battery through the firewall behind the steering wheel.
yes. Weathertech sells a fantastic product that will block out everything even in full sun. I rednecked it and got a roll of reflectix from Home Depot and made my own. Not as effective but will still dim it down enough to take a nap even at high noon.
I hear ya! I’m 5’9” and I believe 6’ could lay diagonal comfortably with what I have. You can pull out the passenger front seat and lay a bed front to back and gain enough room for even you to sleep comfortably but then I would be back to pulling seats out and I can’t get away with that.
I’ve been researching a better way to do my sleeping platform in the back. I started off by folding the back seats up, laying the fold flat floor out, and just putting a memory foam on top. While it’s been very comfortable, I just haven’t had a lot of shoulder room and wasn’t able to lay...
im pulling a 30’ camper and they are requiring tire chains to cross. I have them but if it’s bad enough to need them I’d rather get a good nights sleep in a hotel and wait a day for the roads to clear than try and drag a camper across that. Lol

I love the mats, but they do not go under the gas pedal. Pretty good coverage elsewhere though.
Finally got everything installed today. Went ahead and put an external speaker in also...the stock speaker could be heard but it was so small it sounded like it was coming out of a tin can so I did it more for quality than volume. Antenna is a magnet mount in the center of the cab.

there is a picture of it above. Basically remove the seat anc cut a bracket and then remount the seat. When you raise the lower seat cushion you can then fold the seat back down similar to the mega cabs. Guys are doing it for small hidden storage behind the seats.
I would need to do this if I was running with a driving partner but we have an exemption that allows us to sleep in the back and just log it as off duty instead of sleeper berth since there is only 1 driver in the truck. The kit would also make it so I couldn’t use my back seat as a back seat...
