Thank you! This is a tradesman also and also had chrome bumpers and grille surround. The place I take my trucks to explained that over chrome, you have to scuff it real good and then use an epoxy primer before the regular primer to get it to hold up. So far so good!

I now have the 12.1" screen, bumpers color matched, black badging, installed the upper glove box and have the console just waiting to put in. I am absolutely loving this truck and all the cool add ons but still the payment on a Tradesman!!

I commented what I did above to H3LZSN1P3R. Just go to Infotainment.com and they have a VERY thorough video that walks you through it. Also a YouTuber named Hamiltonville Farm has a video about it and it is great also. Maybe even better than the Infotainment video! The install was very easy!!!
