The computer really does an excellent job of controlling it. There was several spots where it started to flatten out so I shifted up a gear, but it still held that lower gear until I touched the gas pedal. There was also times when I was coasting and when it started to speed up the truck...
I never saw that coolant get above 219, and that was just for a a little bit toward the end of the 9 mile 7% grade downhill. I was hitting about 5,000 rpm for a minute before slowing down and starting over. I don't think it even got the high going up the other 7% grade. It was usually below 215...
I took 285 out of Denver, then 160 to 140. It was a beautiful drive. I think on the way home I'm gonna stay on 160 instead of hitting 285 though. I gotta figure out where that 9 mile 7% grade was because I don't really want to go up that. Besides, it will be the middle of December when I head...
Just pulled my 13,000lb FW on a 1000 mile journey from IA to Farmington, NM. From home to Denver I was running about 70 and once I got through the mountains about 65, averaging 7.5mpg for the trip. The truck did better then I expected in the mountains, but still nothing like a diesel would...
My 22 2500 was doing the same thing. I could grab the cable at the bumper ,wiggle it , and the camera would go on and off. It seemed like the connector was bad and the dealer replaced the connector in the bumper . That didn't fix it, but it seemed to make it a bit different. They then replaced...
Hey AI, make me a picture of a Chinese knockoff RAM 2500 Rebel. The others aren't hideous, but it really bothers me that the led strip isn't lined up with anything and is just off center of the c part of the grill.
I've got a 22 2500 cclb with the 6.4, 4.10s, and auto level rear. With my 5th wheel and everything and everyone loaded for camping I'm hauling 13,700 lbs. I think the truck and engine handle the weight just fine. I live in sw Iowa and it's just hills around here. I pull at 70 on the interstate...
I have a 22 2500 with the 12" screen. I got a Pixel 9 Pro XL last week and now I can't get Waze or Maps to go into dark mode unless I turn the lights on. I have tried setting both of them in light, dark, and same as phone. I have also restarted my phone a couple times. The only way it will go...
I was pulling my fw camper back to it's storage spot today and the service trailer brake system warning popped up. The trailer disconnected light also came on. I only had a few miles to go and the want a good spot to pull over so I kept going. It seemed like I didn't have any trailer brakes. The...
I have the dial shifter and it's not so bad once you get used to it. There is one huge thing I don't like about it though. In the year I've had it, there's been 5 or so times I pulled into a spot, threw it in park. took my foot off the brake, and realized it stopped in R and was backing up. No I...
The only way to truly know your trucks capacity is to weigh it with a you and a full tank of gas. Then you need to add in the weight of passengers and cargo. You'll be surprised at how little payload you actually have.
I haven't noticed it at night, but I have my screen set on dark mode and I'm not sure I've driven much at dusk. In the mornings, however, it about blinds me when the dash lights go to full bright and it's still fairly dark outside. The headlights stay on a while after the dash lights go full bright.
