Sorry, what is EGT. I thought a higher RPM would raise temps. What are you referring to after treatment system? While regen is in process I understand you must be traveling over 55 mph. At that speed it's only pushing 1500 RPMs. Thanks for your input.

I've also been downshifting to keep the RPMs over 2k while traveling over 55 mph. This was a recommendation from a service manager. Does this seems right?
