My 2022 does this too and I asked dealer about it a while back and they said the same thing: all the trucks on the lot do it too so it must be fine.

Agreed. Especially the person behind the counter will be clueless. I've asked at multiple different stations and they always just say: it's #2. Duh, I know that and then I get the deer in the headlights.

I recently started seeing some load on my DPF screen when I usually see none so I skipped the "D" bottle too and have started using the 6500 at the 2 to 10 gallon ratio. I had to change stations where I get my fuel so I'm thinking maybe that's why I started getting an indication on the DPF...

I'm wondering if this should be a recommended routine maintenance service?

It works! However, it was telling me that it will take 3.5hrs to go from 60% to 100%...so the practicality is going to be a little iffy - but better than nothing! It was showing an input to the GB2000 of 175w from the truck and new adapter.

Yeah, I just want the GB2000 to sit in the bed when it's charging...small chance (hopefully)...but if it bursts into flames I think the truck could survive the fire. Also, there's no room in the cab in my scenario for it to sit while driving around due to pax and dogs.

Thanks. Ideally I want the GB2000 just sitting in the bed while it's charging. IF I could just swap out the current inverter for a beefier one, that seems like the most ideal for me. I don't know how to do that and I wonder who would? Should I just try a local diesel mod shop maybe...

I've got about 56k miles on my 2022 2500 with factory air. It's been great. Mostly a daily driver for me. Only about 10% of the miles are towing my 9k total (~1250lbs pin) 5er and it's worked great. I actually use the bed lowering mode every day to park under the 5er in the garage evey night...

I want to be able to charge my Generac battery based generator (the GB2000) with my truck. It doesn't work. When I plug in the Generac the inverter starts to power the GB2000 and then just cycles on / off repeatedly. I guess the draw is too much? When the GB2000 is plugged into my normal...

Yeah, bed lowering squashes it all the way down with no weight at all in the bed. And Alt Trailer Height is a must for my setup to bring the trailer almost level.
