Ram's outdated cab design has a big impact on truck sales. If you look at the history of Dodge/Ram, you'll notice that a cab change happened every 7 - 12 years. Right now, we're going on 17 years with the same cab! There's a reason why the Ram HD looks very outdated. 1st gen (1981 - 1993)...

Yes, I believe the current 2025 - 2027 will be the end of the 4th gen body style. I think Ram will release a new body style (cab configuration) in 2028 when the new full-sized SUV is released. Ram doesn't have a lot of choice. They really need to come out with an all-new truck to boost sales...

I was under the impression that the new engine won't be available until 2028 when the 5th gen is released. The timeline for the 5th gen is hard to predict this early in the game. Perhaps the 2028 will be released in midyear 2027.
