Do you have anything in front of the rear tires? I got into some mud, wet gravel roads last year and it was a mess under my bed and on my front under boxes. Your bed is a custom build so you probably won't have the same issues.

Very nice rig. I like your kitchen more than any other Host I have seen. My wife would love all of that counter space. Since you already have this thread going, you should continue it with your camper mods. If I ever go away from Lance campers, Host is most likely where I would go.

It does have a dinette slide on the drivers side. The solar setup on your rig, WOW, very nice. I look forward to your posts about your new Yukon.

The irony of the last 2 posts, I am going to look at an 1191 tomorrow. Not a new one, but a 20 year old one. The one below yours in the Classifieds. That unit was brought to my attention a few hours after my initial post about the 1191.

I was just reading about the new 1191, they are interesting. If I was in the market for a different camper, Host is definitely in the running.

I forgot that your wheels are black also, looks good. Looking back at your pictures, I wish I had my old moose mirrors back. I liked the view better than these new ones.

If you will, post what you are using for paint and a closeup of the finished product. I am running the giant plastic, but would prefer not to.

As far as durable, I have Cabelas Trail Gear covers that are 10 years old and the are looking like it. They have held up great (farm pickup) and they are inexpensive. If you want something fancy, these probably aren't for you.

I would love to see that setup roll into a LOA rally. No one could top it
