I also did put my trailer on jack stands, remove all 4 wheels, and then sync the tires to the truck with them removed.
I then let the air out of the tires while they were at the rear of the truck to sync, then remounted the 4 wheels, and everything worked from that time on, about 3 years now.
I have an aftermarket heavy steel bumper on my 2022 dually. I pull a 41' 5th wheel RV.
I made a small bracket with some 1/8" ABS plastic and mounted the receiver to it. There was just enough of the wiring harness to get it mounted like the attached pictures.
My rear axles on the trailer are...
Nope, actually the dually gap at the rear measures close to the same as with the original 235/80/17 Nexen tires that came on the truck from the factory.
1-1/4" between the rear dually tires before, and now 1-1/8". No spacers and on the factory wheels.
I have installed new tires on my 2022 Dually.
I used 255/80/17 Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac RT.
No problem with installing them on my stock rims.
The ride is smooth, and no road noise I can hear.
I did have the BD 2-Low. It came in handy, but mine faulted and caused my 4-wheel to lock engaged after about a year. If you get a fault in your 4-wheel drive, keep that as a trouble shooting option. Just disconnect the BD and see if the fault goes away.
Update to connections:
Aux 1 - Transfer Tank Pump
Aux 2 - Aux Tank Gauge/Solenoid
Aux 3 - Rear Quick Disconnect for Winch Connection
Aux 4 - Rear Aux Lights
Aux 5 - Front Aux Lights
Aux 6 - Dash Camera (Maybe Switch to Run Only Relay)
Run Only Relay - Not Used (Yet)
I did not order the memory setting buttons described on the attached page 34 of the owners' manual.
What I can set is described on pages 249 and 250 of the owners' manual.
See attached highlighted pages.
I only have the power/heated seats and mirrors, not power convex mirrors.
I have a 90 gallon AUX tank in the bed of my truck.
I am not really interested in the auto-transfer of fuel. I already have it connected to transfer via one of my aux switches. (electric solenoid and pump turns on when I activate the aux switch)
Is there a way to just hook up a sending unit to...
Update:
Took the trailer out this past week on a 4 hour drive, spent three days with trailer removed, then drove back 4 hours.
Multiple times stopping and turning off truck. Multiple times removing trailer then reconnecting.
So far no issues. TTPMS has thus far worked properly.
One module (TIM) is above the headliner. Mine was above the passenger rear seat headliner.
The other receiver module is behind the bumper/license plate area.
The receiver module was pretty easy (about 5-10minutes).
The TIM requires that the headliner is partially removed by the same way the...
