How's does any of that matter. If it's leaking me driving 1 extra hour to see them is detrimental. If it is noisy getting parts ordered and scheduled is "sooner the better". They have all the info on my truck. You eat the Snickers.

I called the dealer (over an hour away) and was told that I needed to bring my truck in for a 2hr evaluation and only then would they order the parts. Supposedly Ram's requirement. My last experience a 2hr repair took 5 hours (replacing the coolant resoirvoir). Who's paying for my loss of a days...
Well the rest of of story is... 3 hours of shop time and every module being reflashed. 22 pages of system faults and a threat of voiding my warranty if I play with the body computer again. I agree with the potential of an incompetent tech but I won't be risking it again.

That was my reaction "ok just a shop charge" but they say they can't get the computer to accept a flash. Now it's some sort of technical request to FCA. What a cluster.

Dealer has a tsb indicating changes with tuners are are likely cause. Also the only report they could pull up shows truck has a 2017 computer and 2018 software. Truck is 2020. When I made the change on the fog light change Alpha OBD defaulted to 2017 body computer which I thought was unusual but...
