Update- I contacted Ram Cares, and they started a case and within 3 days remarkably, the dealer called me and said the part that was not available is on its way to the dealer to fix my truck. Thank.you Ram Cares for your assistance!

Has anyone out there had a DEF injector break? My 2025 3500 has 800 miles and is at the dealer with a broken DEF injector with no eta on a replacement part. The parts manager said a STAR report was required and that it can take a considerable amount of time to get this fixed. Part # 68602929AC

I have submitted the request to customer service. Next step is a buy back! Not happy to say the least.

No the DPF injector to the exhaust connection is plastic. The injector sprayed the dpf fluid on the ground and the underside of the truck. I offered to have the upgraded metal part delivered to the dealer, but they said that can't be done due to voiding the warranty.

My 3500 dually broke the DPF injector at 800 miles. Drained the fluid and triggered low power mode. Got it to the dealer and apparently they put a flimsy plastic injector on the new engines. And there are no replaceme parts available. No eta from service, so my new truck is sitting collecting...

And.... after 800 miles, the DPF injector broke and there is no eta on a new part. so it's sitting at the dealer collecting Ram dust.

I traded my 2023 in for a 2025 DRW, it has a much smoother ride, shifting is great and quiet. The truck has enormous power. Everything about the new HD is better. I love it.
