That would probably be it. It should sound like a jet engine after you hit 250 oil temp and the big fan ramps up.

Oil and coolant seems pretty high. How fast up the hill? Rpms? Running at 4100 rpm up a 3% grade for a few mins oil will hit 250. But the fan should turn on and drop your temps quickly. At least that how mine works. I am about 21k lbs total weight.

I am surprised they have this. I bought a Bronco and Ram HD from Granger over the last couple years and I do not recall having to sign this for either.

@ClayG34 I had the same thought as you about the cooling system the 1st time I pulled heavy (~21k lbs truck and trailer). The oil temp kept rising and what I deduced pulling a few long grades with the truck is this: Because the Hemi is warm blooded it doesn’t turn on the fan on hardly at all...

@Jimmy07 Since the 2023's are using a different version of the UC5 module than the 2022's, would that mean there is no way to load these features on a 2022 with the blindspot and camera hardware? Or just that it will take some time to understand what needs to be done to make it happen. Thanks...

Looks like you have a Power Wagon, so I assume 6.4. What oil are you running to get 55 PSI cruising? Mine is a 22 with 8K miles, on factory oil I would bump from 49-51 on the highway and then I changed my oil at 5K with PUP and I am in the 46-47 on the highway.

Happens to me more often than not on 6.4 hemi as well. Pain in the butt to hold the nozzle for 45 gallons.

In the middle of a cross country trip with a ram 3500 DRW gasser and truck camper now. My truck weighs 7500 empty. I have a 3.5k lb truck camper and towing a 7500lb car trailer. All the gear loaded in the truck weighed in at 13,200 with a total scale weight of just over 20k lbs. So far over...

The cooling system on these are designed to run at that 220 range. I also thought it seemed alittle warm running empty, but the coolant system has alot of capacity. When running at a total weight of 20K lbs at 65 mph my coolant temp only went up ~5 sometimes 10 degrees on a big hill from empty.
