SHORT TRIPPING WITH NEW 2025 6.7 EMISSIONS SYSTEM

Update - as I mentioned there are two DOCs in this AFT:

Not sure what will happen in situation when DPF will be really loaded (I mean not only calculated that it is loaded but it will indeed contain a lot of soot). However during idling it looks that radiator fan provides enough airflow below the chassis to keep exhaust quite safe from overheating.

Exactly - you've marked the part where second DOC is located.

Look at the graph I've pasted few pages ago. Temps are normally around 600F - may be too low. 7-th injector is for DPF's DOC. First DOC afaik does not have own injector so there is no other way to heat it up. You can see such event on the graph mentioned. EGT2 and EGT3 went up having EGT1 not...

Apart from this - there is second DOC just after 7-th injector in one body with the DPF.

Please keep in mind that 7-th injector is just before DPF's DOC. First DOC - mounted right after turbo outlet does not have it's own injector. It was shown - even in this thread that this first DOC is activated sometimes and there is no other way to heat it up different than in cylinder dosing.

It is in line with what I see. There are two DOCs. One before SCR and second one before DPF.

It's a bit strange that using AR6500 could cause DPF calculated load to be at 0% for 24hrs. Maybe someone could verify if AR6500 has some impact on exhaust temperatures? From what I understand - it should increase temperature just like the DOC does to allow for passive regeneration.

First 2100 mile tow with the 2025. Its a beast!

I would assume - not having regen indicator on dashboard could mean that we are free to stop in the middle of active regen. In such case I noted only a blink of engine icon while stopping the engine. Next drive cycle just started with regeneration almost right away.

Could you tell how many miles/hrs/idle hrs you've done to this first regen point?

Could anyone share a bit more what are general observations? Like distance/time between regens in this new platform? Sure its a bit too early to judge but this new setup shows some improvement over previous gens.

I checked what's avaliable to log using CarScanner Android app and then export recording to #1 CSV file. Keep in mind that I had to use profile for previous -24 platform so I'm not sure about PIDs association and names.

SHORT TRIPPING WITH NEW 2025 6.7 EMISSIONS SYSTEM

Just a thought - I've done some temperature logs and if we consider there is a DOC right at the turbo outlet - there must be a second DOC integrated with DPF with one body. It looks like 7-th injector mouted at the input of DPF is in fact in front of this second DOC.
