I applaud you for your diligence, reminds me of myself! The vehicles computer literally has no way of knowing this would be installed, therefore it can not produce any codes.
This is actually not a tune, but a plug and play. It connects inline to the the throttle pedal sensor. It can easily be removed anytime. All is does is makes the throttle position sensor think that the pedal is further down than it actually is. It makes a huge difference in the overall driving...
I installed a BD Power throttle sensitivity booster right after 500 miles. It is much more responsive on the pedal feel and there is no lag at all anymore. It does not add power, but it changes the throttle feel. You don't have to apply as much pedal to get the same result. I love it...
