    Driveline vibration 50-70mph. 6.4/8 speed

Yea I may try rotating them. Just about due for another rotation anyhow. It’s weird how with my 6x12 trailer hooked up there is no vibration at all.

    Driveline vibration 50-70mph. 6.4/8 speed

ok I’ll bring it in to get them all balanced. I’m hoping to get at least 20-25k out of these tires and so far I’ve been overall happy with them

    Driveline vibration 50-70mph. 6.4/8 speed

So I took a closer look at my tires today and my driver rear tire is in fact missing one of the smaller weights. The clip is still there that goes to the rim but the lead or whatever the weight is made out of is gone. Comparing to another one of my tires it looked to be a .375 weight. Would...

    Driveline vibration 50-70mph. 6.4/8 speed

I don’t think it’s a driveline thing because when it’s happening I play with what gear I’m in and rpm and doesn’t seem to make a difference. Almost just sounds like excessive road noise. Also being hooked up to the trailer I don’t think would change my shaft angle that dramatically

    Driveline vibration 50-70mph. 6.4/8 speed

That’s what I’m thinking. They have some mileage on them now. Weird with my trailer hooked up I can do the same speeds and it’s pretty much gone. Maybe the extra tongue weight on the rear so maybe I should mess with adding 10 psi or dropping 10 psi who knows

    Driveline vibration 50-70mph. 6.4/8 speed

Hey guys. I own a 2024 2500 tradesman 6.4 w/8spd 4.10 rear crew cab standard bed 4x4. Just over 12,000 miles I’m noticing a vibration from 50-70 mph in 6-8th gear. Not MDS as I normally turn it off with the gear limit switch. This is when empty. I pull a 6x12 enclosed trailer for work...

2024 Ram 2500 Whooshing noise from cluster/steering area

My 2024 6.4 makes this sound. To me it sounds like some sort of idle air controller. Your hearing vacuum/air through a small passage.

    New 2024 leaking fluids

Looks like it’s number # 68718876-AA There’s also a number # 21060013 but I have a feeling that’s the number on a parts breakdown or identification number not sure it’s under “description “

    New 2024 leaking fluids

Happy to hear that. What length bed do you have I know the 8’ crew cabs have a different shaft setup. Mine is a crew cab with 6.5’ bed. I noticed whoever installed it put the weep hole at 9 o’clock instead of straight down. Guess it doesn’t really matter if it leaks it’s going to show up at some...

    New 2024 leaking fluids

Brought mine to dealer yesterday for the leaking output shaft seal. I replaced mine twice already myself with a National seal replacement and within 500-1000 miles both times started leaking again. Brought it in yesterday got it back today pretty happy with that didn’t lose too much work time...

    New 2024 leaking fluids

Please let us know if that fixes the problem. I put my second seal in recently just to by more time during my busy season before taking to the dealer. I’m sure it’s going to start leaking soon want to know what the end all be all with this is. I read somewhere the real issue is a bushing...

    New 2024 leaking fluids

Update on mine: New seal I put in lasted a little over 1000 miles. It’s not leaking bad yet the cross member under the tcase isn’t soaked. I’m wondering if the slip yoke end is the problem and is a couple thousandths too small in diameter? Anyone find a permanent solution to this yet? I have...
