I understand the legal context. is is, however, unfortunate. This sort of thing from a third party (ram) only hurts their brand....especially when they plaster cummins on the side of the trucks as a sales point.

Has anyone reached out directly to cummins on this issue to gather their take?

Well looks like I'm getting the truck back tomorrow. Their new answer is a $7 intake seal. Can't make this sort of thing up. Replace cheap parts and give it back. Stellantis and their entire dealer network are useless. I have lost all faith.
