Since we all have the Heavy Duty trucks, I am curious to what's the biggest / heaviest items you have hauled with your 5th gen, other stories welcomed too. Post pictures if you got'em.

Mine is my own 5th wheel so far.
Specs - 2019 Cyclone 4007 43 foot ( actually 45 feet from front to back ) toy hauler. Total weight is about 16k to 17k pounds with about 3600 pounds pin weight.

Towed my 15 k 5th wheel from richmond va. to vacation all over Montana and Wyoming. 6313 miles total. Lots of mountains including Beartooth Pass. Don't recommend doing beartooth with camper ,if you want to enjoy the view. Cause its pretty cool drive up to 11000 ft. Truck did awesome. 6.5 mpg average for the trip. Low 5s in the mountains and high 7s on the flats. Truck has 4.10s and so did my 2014. Did similar trip in 2018 to California in that one. Did fine ,but the 8 speed is way better.

Current - 2019 ram 2500 Laramie 4x4 6.4 8 speed
Traded- 2014 ram 2500 Outdoorsman 4x4 6.4 hemi 6 speed

Nothing was really bad about it. There is actually a campground at the top. So I wasn't the only one. But you will spend more time thinking about the 40 ft. behind you, in the switchbacks, and on the way down, than you will taking in the spectacular views. The truck didn't have a problem at all, the driver just had some white nuckles, thats all. The actual toughest climb for the truck was coming over Teton pass, from Idaho east back to Jackson hole. That is a 5 mile , 10% grade up. Then 5 mile 10% down. Was glad I had my new, lower first gear. Had I been in my '14, I may have been looking for 4 low.
