I bought the kit so you don’t pick and choose with that. It’s a mixed setup of spot and broad lights. I need to peek at the docs to remember, will update with that info n

It’s the 7 light configuration. Outsides are Wide Cornering, then you have the Driving Combo and finally 3 spot lights.

Installed the Baja Designs S2 reverse kit. Easy install, less than an hour. Huge difference!

Mounted the leftover light bar that didn't fit in the front as a rear work light. I still need to run the leads from the trigger 4, but it's not going anywhere.

When I installed the front light bar, I mounted the trigger switch above the coin holder using some super glue and leftover magnets.

I also installed a center console safe, the floor cubby safe, and a magnetic pistol holder. I spent a little time making magazine cutouts using pluck foam. This way, if I am traveling out of state, I can store my pistols and magazines separately. The AR mags go in there as well--i just have not found a good rifle mount for the truck yet.

Do those magnets have a pretty good hold?

This is what I came up with.

You, Sir, are quite talented. Love your stuff.

The magnet came with double sided tape and self tapping screws. I originally mounted to my pistol and then used the double sided tape to place it in the best spot.

However I could not release the magnet from my weapon without ripping the magnet off of the trim piece.. So, I had to use the screws as well.

It holds really well with the weapon mounted on its side. It slid a little when the top of the slide was mounted to the magnet--i prefer it sideways as two of my pistols have reflex sights.

If it can hold my full size, it can hold the compact and subcompact.

Hope that helps!

Can't say I'm a huge fan of the magnet pistol holders. I'm a firm believer that the trigger should be covered when the weapon is "holstered". Also, heavy items bouncing around in the cab during an accident are a no-no.

I posted here about two years ago about using a similar magnet and was convinced to do otherwise by some members here.

Beyond all the keyboard warrior firearm expert John Wick's on this forum, the argument that sold me against it was what would happen in the event of an accident. I ended up mounting the magnet under my work bench in the garage and got a kydex holster/mount for my truck gun.

Agreed. A holster should cover the trigger. Regardless of integrated safety.

The mag holder is exactly that: a holder. More of an intermediate holder for me. I am an OWB, hip carry guy. If I'm stopped for awhile, the pistol goes from the holster to the holder. If I'm stepping out of the vehicle, pistol goes from holder into holster. If I'm continuing my travels, the pistol goes from holder to holster.

Experiences may vary

Have all the parts now to install/enable the TTPMS, now to read through the alfa thread so I don't screw the pooch.
Also got some Coopers mounted on the wheels I've had sitting around... tires will eventually get put on the truck once I finish an upcoming cross country trip.

Not a what to but a what with my RAM today.

When it's 15°F out and tires need air... you break out the air hose and hook it up to your NH Overland Rear Under Seat Compressor with ARB pressure control controlled by the ARB Linx and fill those suckers up!
