What did you do TO your RAM today?

Got my Thuren front shock mount reinforcements welded in, thanks to K Suspension in Boise. They also swapped out my damaged wheels and rebalanced the ones that had stick on weights where they rubbed the brake calipers.

Now I can go have some fun without worry about the shock mounts ripping off!

Make sure you upgrade the bump stops.

Six new Toyos on my pavement princess. Road force balanced. Had planned on replacing the Nexans this fall before heading south but a busted belt on the right front messed up that plan. Only 25K on the Nexan factory junk. Going to have the rim refinished due to scratches incurred when doing an emergency tire change when the belt let go.

Well depends on how hard to send it lol. When I took mine out on the dunes afte I got everything done, glad I did bump stops lol.
Hah, yeah I can see that. If I get to the level that I feel the OEM bump stops aren’t enough I’ll fab in some Fox hydraulic bumps.

LOL it doesnt take too much. I was amazed on the ride quality when i did mine and you definitely catch yourself driving faster just because you can. before you know it you will be bottoming out and your wife will be smacking the crap out of you for spilling her tea.

Correct I have about a two and three-quarter inch lift with 37” tires And they’re about double the size of the factory. Was going to go boogie bumps or sumo up front but decided to only do the rear.
Ahh makes sense.

Stock batteries died the other morning. By the date stamp 2 years 10 months old. And one with a cruddy terminal. They both tested bad. Giving the Walmart AGM a try. Can't beat the price and 4 year warranty like the competitors.
I've had the truck hooked up to a NOCO 5 for about 6 months now but I guess when they are done they are done.

Two new batteries replaced last Tuesday, they were a tad over five years old. The bad part was we were in California to move our 38' DP motorhome and I had to replace the starting batteries in it. Next morning the batteries in the truck failed smh. I'm now down $1000 in batteries plus another $4000 in MH tires

A little detailing and added two cheapo mods/accessories… I added these foam cupholder inserts into the door pockets. They work well. I also replaced the cabin air filter with a K&N filter and the air flow is significantly increased. IMG_4626.jpegIMG_4625.jpeg

Is that the cleanable cabin air filter? Definitely want better air flow, but not sure I'm sold on the cleanable filters.
