A couple of weeks ago, HDRams.com reached out to Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) asking if the United States government shutdown of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), was going to effect the certification status of the 2019 Ram Heavy Duty models.

FCA US responded back saying that both of the 6.4-liter HEMI V8 and standard output 6.7-liter Cummins turbo diesel had received their certification from the EPA, however they were waiting on the certification of the all-new 6.7-liter High Output Cummins Turbo Diesel for its 3500 models.

Well with the government shutdown over, FCA US sent HDRams.com another response, saying the following...

FCA US has received certification for its new 2019 Ram 3500 pickup – gasoline- and diesel-powered models. The Company previously received certification for its new 2019 2500 models. FCA US is grateful to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for expediting this process. The new vehicles remain on schedule for their planned Q2 launch. - Fiat Chrysler Automobiles
So it looks like the 2019 Ram 3500 models equipped with the new High Output motor is all-ready for release. While ordering has begun for the new trucks already. The first 2019 Ram Heavy Duty models will be arriving on dealer lots in March.

Stay tuned to HDRams.com for all your 2019 Ram Heavy Duty news and information.
