Transparent Trailer Views mentioned in Trailer Life

Sure hope that additional camera optional package will do something like this when it’s available. Sure would be nice to have a “Transparent Trailer” view.

Yep! It's clearly impossible with the "rear-tailgate camera" that the article mentions. But with the camera moved back behind the trailer, you could get closer. The tech would have to be powerful, because the Uconnect computer would have to continuously resize and re-aim the trailer camera as you drove, especially on curves, to get that kind of perspective. Virtual reality technology, essentially.

In the picture of that article it says you can turn the side view cameras on with the turn signal... Has anyone figured out how to turn it on? I don't see anything in my settings for this option. I have the trailer tow package.
