I need information on how to use the trailer height adjustment on my new 2022 Ram 3500. It moves the truck bed up and down one inch. Is it safe to use while towing a 36 foot gooseneck horse trailer.
Sounds like you have the auto-level rear suspension.
Always use ALT Ride height when towing, assuming enough weight to engage it, as it lower the rear suspension onto the overloads that help with lateral stability and overall trailer handling.
It’s safe in either position, why wouldn’t it be?, but ALT is designed for a better towing experience.
