I'm sending my Tradesman in for the Air conditioning TSB tonight and I removed my Uconnect 12" Retrofit to avoid confusion at the dealership. When i put my Uconnect 5" back in the truck, I found out it works 100% with the CVPM I installed for the surround view sytem. 1615385554989.png 1615385557944.png 1615385560595.png @Jimmy07

Man am I spoiled. I would need a pair of binoculars to see that tiny screen. Since the tradesman is a work truck, it's fine. I had a loaner when the dealer did the bed step and it was a 1500, but not a Tradesman. The radio was the smaller uconnect and was OK for the day but I missed my 12.1. Taking the truck in for the A/C TSB diagnosis today, but will not be leaving it for the work to be done. We have a scvheduled spring break trip to Prescott, AZ.. When we get back the parts should be waiting, assuming they don't come back "with no trouble found'" That would be a problem.

If they come back with no trouble found, refer to the TSB that clearly states. You Being there with a complaint IS THE DIAGNOSIS, and they are to repair it, PERIOD.

I hope they see it the same way. RamCares is already aware, so it should not be an issue. I am concerned about time for repair because we will be taking a trip in a week and a half. If they can get it done before that, it would be awesome.

For our farm work I bought 2020 tradesman and yes the 5” screen is driving me nutts, it makes me reconnect anytime I turn off engine, plus buttons r so dull ….. I gotta upgrade this stereo and speakers before I start singing to my cattle in frustration

would you be willing to share more info with me about your upgrade? I have the standard 5" screen in a '22 Tradesman and am wanting to upgrade to either an 8.4" or possibly 12".

I know it's been a minute - but can you send me instructions of what you did, what parts you used, and what Alfa settings you changed? Also, did you have Trailer TPMS on your vehicle, and did it still work?
