Tailgate swap

Hey guys I’m hoping someone can help me out, I have a 2012 ram 3500, I’ve put a 2022 tailgate on it. I’ve switched the hinges and installed it but now I’m wondering how I can make the electric side of the tailgate to work. I don’t need anything fancy just want to be able to open and close the tailgate. I have no previous wiring on my truck but the tailgate came with the actuator connecting wires and I have a pigtail for the plug into the handle itself. Wondering if I can just 12V into it and make it work but I’m not sure on the tailgate wiring which to tap into. The wires i have are a black and a tan with yellow stripe. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm about 99% there. I'm using some of the information from the Cummins Forum but had to fill in a gap because the pre '16 body control modules do not have the sense and drive function. You do not want to move the wires from C5 to C6.....
My truck is a 2013 with RamBox's which added another layer of difficulty because they are on the secondary lock circuit with the tailgate.
