Shortage of oil and fuel filters

Our local dealer let us know that they are having a difficult time getting oil and fuel filters for the Cummins. As a precaution, I went ahead and ordered 2 sets of filters from Geno’s Garage. Will check Walmart tomorrow for some 5w40 oil

Being slightly of the prepper sort, I'm well off on all filters.

That said, I'm ashamed to admit I only have 12qts of T6 5W40 oil on hand if my dealer can't do it (have one free oil change left) when I need my next change in May 22.

I saw your post Firebird and decided to take a run to Walmart then Tractor Supply then Lowes.

Walmart was wiped out of pretty much all their oil. ( cept for the Walmart brand)
No DEF at all.
Tractor Supply: No 5w40 or Rotella 10w30. DEF was $15 I bought 1 box
Lowes: No DEF and no oil for the Cummins.


Usually I'm on top of this but I'm just getting over a hospital stay from Covid.

Its amazing how fast prices are going up.
