So watching that video again it really looks like the bolts are too long :/ The cab mount bushing isn’t compressed at all. Could it be that simple? If the bolts are bottoming out they might be torqued correctly but not compressing the mount. Some washers could solve that....

Now I would like to see a video of the A-pillar mounts during the front end clunk.

First ram thinking the same thing or just finding the correct size bolt would hopefully solve it

Did some quick research looked online at parts diagram and seems like they did change the bushing and not the bolt can someone also confirm this that they changed the bushing and not the bolt?? Could it be simple fix like this??

Attached are the diagrams I was looking at. All the bolts used on the 2018 ram seem to be same (6509459AA) and on 2019 ram same bolts used as the 2018 for front and rear bushings but 3 bolts (6510855AA) in the middle bushings are different should be shorter. Maybe they used wrong size bolt or forgot to put smaller bolt in at factory or it's still too long..

Also seems differnt bushings/body bumpers both on rock auto and on mopar

So it could be very possible the wrong bolts were installed on some trucks. How hard would it be to just remove the bolt and check?

I wouldn't be surprised if they used wrong bolts....I don't have access to my truck to check but someone thats handy and has some time just unbolt a few of them and compare and measure

It’s exactly what I thought too!!! Shorter bolts should do the trick to help compress the bushing just a little...:-/ Almost tempted to try shorter ones myself but since it’s still under warranty maybe the dealership will be willing to try?

Hate it that so many of us are having the same exact problems and after all the help we have requested through RamCares that the info taken in by them hasn’t caused the FCA engineers to put out a TSB or a Recall for these cab mounts and the front ends.
That's not within their purview. RamCares are intermediaries between customers and dealers. By design, they have no links to the corporate echelon. Most of em couldn't tell ya what oil to put in your engine. Their raison d'etre is to give the customer warm and fuzzies that FCA really, really cares about the issues with your vehicle. Some folks are quite happy with RamCares and that's fine. I'm firmly on the fence as regards their usefulness.

Hey @Burn'n Oil - thank you for the honest feedback. As Ram Social Care Specialists, we are a part of the FCA Customer Care Team. We monitor forums, as well as social media platforms, to assist customers who are currently experiencing vehicle concerns as well as get them connected with a Case Specialist to work with their dealers throughout the repair process. More than that, we do work directly with engineering and brand teams to report developing vehicle concerns in order to pursue further research.

Please know that I have made sure to escalate this thread & concern internally so that it may be reviewed further by the appropriate teams. From my level of care, I am happy to do all that I can to provide support in addressing this concern.

The clanging and banging cab mounts have been a thing since before I bought my 2015 2500, so don't hold your breath.
