Hello,

Just wondering if anyone knows if there is a difference in the rake height between a 2500 and 3500, both Laramie, both 4x4 and both crew cab? At a dealer they had a 2500 big horn crew parked behind 3500 limited and the 2500 looked way taller. neither had air suspension as well. Both 20" rims. Sometimes I wonder if the 2500s sit slightly higher with the coil springs vs the leafs. I looked on the ram website in dimensions and it always lists the 3500 as an inch taller.

I know my 2500 sits lower than others with the airbags from the factory. So it would make sense the coils are higher.

My impression is my new 2500 sits as tall as my 2016 PW did.....and it was 1.5" taller than a regular 2500. These new 2500s are tall.

This is what I have noticed.... The 3500 air suspension sits lower in the rear than the 3500 leaf spring suspension ( didnt measure, but it was noticeable) and the 2500 coil suspension sits 1 inch or so taller in the rear than the 3500 leaf suspension. I measured from the top of rear tire to bottom of fender, not the actual difference in bed height but that is close.
