Price negotiated from MSRP

We purchased the 3500 4x4 Crew Cab SWB LB HO Cummins with the Aisin in Montrose, Colorado, but our truck's Greenhouse Gas rating is a "B" versus the OP's "C"? We don't have emission checks, but I wouldn't think there would be a difference between the two trucks. Paid $70,000.00 even after all the finance, taxes, and fees were included.

Welp...you guys are right. I ran the VIN and it came up as follows. I guess it wasn't so great after all haha. I have the window sticker in the garage that shows $107k but it must have been prior to the discounts. 14% isn't terrible I guess.
Thanks for letting us know. Still a damn nice truck. Enjoy.

Nicely built truck.

3500 4x4 Crew Cab SWB LB HO Cummins Laramie in Colorado
$70,743 + tax = $74456 OTD
Attached is picture of window sticker. Hopefully I did ok.
My first Ram truck, always had Chevys in the past. Last was a duramax 2500.
I tend to keep them for 20 years or so. Probably my last truck.

I think Chrysler had dropped the price on these by 10k after the window sticker was made. At least that's what I was told. Then I guess the dealer and rebates got me another 17k. At least that's how it was explained to me.

Surprised that HeavyKeith's Laramie didn't come with the larger fuel tank with all those options. Certainly worth having it in rural regions.

Can't stand paying the higher priced $4.699 per gallon for 85 Octane regular (only choice) and $5.399 diesel within the Rockies fuel stop closest to our home. Another 28 miles round trip further for the lower priced fuel at $2.999 for gas and $3.299 for diesel on I-70. I appreciate the 50 gallon on our 2024 Ram 3500 4x4 Tradesman HO Cummins due to I can fill-up not as often and skip the high priced fuel stops. The fuel pumps power was out at the Eagle's Nest Truck Stop on I-70 last week though when I stopped to fill-up last week. Plenty still left in the diesel tank. Our family's 2014 Ram 2500 Cummins in rural Wyoming has an additional 60 gallon tank in the bed. Less of a concern versus our 2016 Ram 2500 PW's 6.4L gas tank of which I carry extra fuel while towing here due to it really sucks on the MPG.

Yah, the window sticker I got from the dealer shows $107k but I plugged my VIN into this site and it shows the updated window sticker at $95k.

Agreed. I took what they had on the lot trying to get max discount. I didn't even know a bigger tank was available. If they had room for a 50 gallon, I don't even know why they would make a smaller one. Same problem on my Duramax with too small of tank.

Interesting, if you go to the Ram site and build your model and I am using the 3500 Laramie. Very first page before choosing 4WD or any options on that page. The '24 starts with an MSRP of $74,079. Change over to the '25 model and the MSRP changes to $61,805. I am going to presume that the dealers have changed/reduced these prices at the dealership level? I know, presumption is the model of all disasters.

I did buy it in late January. So maybe they lowered the pricing on these for 2025 and that included 2024 models still on the lots.

Since there seemed to be some back and forth about how to get the best price, invoice, holdback etc, I figured I'd just post my order here from Koons. Mark Dodge is basically the same price too I believe. You can argue the Doc fees all you want but 899-999 is standard in VA and they will just sell to someone else or hide your fee somewhere. For an ordered 2025 I find the price incredibly good, I'm trading in something and got the affiliate so the price is on the bottom right.Granite 2500 Order.jpg

Most of the difference is the motor. The 24 is only available with the Cummins, where the '25s base motor is the 6.4 Hemi.

I have a completely loaded 25' 3500 limited w/ cummins, etc. coming. Signed agreement for 500 over invoice totalling 97k. MSRP on it was 102,780. Still expensive, but less than MSRP. Minus any applicable rebates avaliable at the time of pick-up. I don't expect any, but if they are there, great.

That's a way better deal I get as an employee. Our cost knocks around $9-10K off the sticker on a truck at that price

As a teenager I worked for a Southern California Dodge Truck dealership back in 1975. No one ever mentioned to me about an employee discount on the $5K-$6K W200 Power Wagons being sold. I liked them other than sitting on the black vinyl seats in the hot summer sun.

Well I’m gonna miss my Power Wagon, but I’m towing far more than wheelin these days. I searched the country online for 2024 2500s that were on the lot over 300 days and found a lot. A LOT. So I found one at a huge dealership near me and did about 3 days of negotiating and haggling via phone. Got an out the door price of $67,000 on this Limited with 6.7 Cummins. Dealers are hurting right now.

How do you search to determine how long inventory has been on a dealer’s lot?
