It said 5,400 IIRC
Interesting - only about 4.5%. It appears that the crazy 10-11% reduction is only occurring on the 1500's and 2500's and SRW 3500's.
Ram listed my as 5560 lbs so it'll be interesting what ends up on the door sticker.

Only photo so far:

Ram's web site listed my as 5560 lbs and is 5429 lbs. Only 131 lbs less. I'll still use the Ford for heavy loads. LOL.

CC DRW Laramie HO without AutoLevel and sunroof

The crazy 10-11% reduction to payload appears to be more specific to the SRW trucks.

Okay, finally found a 2500 Limited near me that I could drive and view the payload sticker. The news is just awful; 1,990 lb payload.

View attachment 152

2019 RAM 2500 SRW 4x4 Limited Crew Cab 6"4" Bed
+Delmonico Red, $100
+Towing Tech Grp, $445
+Protection Group, $95
+5th Whl/Gooseneck Towing Prep, $445
+Body Color Bumper, $395
+Limited Level 1 Group, $2,995
+Anti-Spin Differential Rear Axle, $445
+6.7L I6 Cummins Turbo Diesel, $9,100
+Power Sunroof, $1,095
-RamBox Delete, -$490

MSRP: $80,520

With our trailer's GVWR of 11,000 and 1,600 hitch weight, there doesn't appear to be any way a 2500 Limited is going to work for us as we'd only have 390 lbs of payload remaining. While we don't need the 5th Wheel / Gooseneck Towing Prep, we would like the RamBox, extra alternator, auto level air suspension, and deployable bed step. Does anyone know the weight of the sunroof or 5th Wheel / Gooseneck Towing Prep?

It's looking like if we're going to get a RAM, it'll have to be a 3500.
Reading some of these old posts from back a few months ago I should have done more homework and I wouldn’t have gone with the 2500 either with air ride suspension and I wouldn’t have blown them already. Got a 3500 on order now.

I have had 5 2500s and finally decided to make the jump to a dually. Payload wise and in the camper world, you can exceed the limits of a 2500 really quickly. I had a 2019 ram 1500 for a little while. Payload on it was 1670 or something like that. Step up to a 2500 with way more power and you only get a couple hundred pounds more payload in some cases. The pin weight of any decent size fifth wheel will put you over payload on most 2500s.

I am not sure what is making the difference between your truck and mine. I have the same options, minus the diesel but I do have the auto-level system in mine.. My payload per the door sticker is 2809 Lbs. I am towing a 5th wheeler with GVRW OF 10,000 lbs.

Just don’t hit any big dips on Hwy’s where you get a big bounce. That pops them.

The diesel loses almost 1000 lbs of payload itself, not to mention the transmission, filters, def tank, etc.

That's good to know, I am glad I bought the 6.4L. When I tow, I try to keep the load as light as possible. Its hard sometimes when the DW see an unoccupied space and want to put something in there for just in case.

Anyone have a sticker from a gas 2500 Laramie or better with ramboxes? Bonus if it also has air suspension...
