Yep. 228lbs less payload than my ‘06 but it was also 2wd and an SLT. I don’t haul much just tow our 36’ bumper pull travel trailer so it’s fine for my needs and wants.pretty
Pretty sad amounts!
Yes, but those other guys are loosing tons of sales to companies who want a non-commercial (under 10k GVW) 3/4 ton truckYep. 228lbs less payload than my ‘06 but it was also 2wd and an SLT. I don’t haul much just tow our 36’ bumper pull travel trailer so it’s fine for my needs and wants.
Hoping in 2023 Ram offers an option for higher GVWR like GM and Ford do for their 3/4 ton diesels. A 10,800lb GVWR would make much more respectable 2722lb payload.
It’s an option, not standard, so order what you need.Yes, but those other guys are loosing tons of sales to companies who want a non-commercial (under 10k GVW) 3/4 ton truck
for their businesses so they don't have to run logs! That's probably why they buy gas rigs.
Never seen anything about optional GVW ratings on 2500's.It’s an option, not standard, so order what you need.
It's regarding the other brands.Never seen anything about optional GVW ratings on 2500's.
Smart, I wouldn't think they would want to miss out on all of those commercial sales. It's regarding the other brands.
GM has 2500 options for several GVWR from 10K to 11,550, Ford has a F350 option that's only 10K.
I might be missing something, but if someone needs the payload, why not just get a 3500? I've owned both and the difference is pretty negligible.
This is the payload sticker from our Hyundai Santa Cruz
Because hecho en Mexico, lolSo here's a mystery... Why the heck does my sticker look different from everyone else's? For reference, it's a 2021 2500 limited with the CTD.
